Sleeping Strawberry Guesthouse

Sleeping Strawberry Guesthouse is a woman only, eco-friendly accommodation located in Sinchon/Hongdae, the centre of youth culture in Seoul.

The streets of Sinchon are always lively and filled with younger people who gather to enjoy the youth culture of the area. Travellers can experience the artistic spirit of live musical performances in the local bars and clubs. 

Also in the area are many vegan cafes, bakeries and organic restaurants with vegan menus. Many of the local shops also promote a lifestyle of environmentalism and being eco-friendly wherever possible.

The guesthouse itself works on being as eco-friendly as possible, by reducing their carbon footprint and using products that will not harm the environment. For example, the use of air conditioning is limited to extremely hot days only, soaps and shampoos are hand-made using natural oils and they promote washing your clothes by hand  with eco-friendly soaps in order to save water and avoid the need for washing detergents. 

Sleeping Strawberry Guesthouse also offer guests clean drinking water, meaning that you will not have to purchase water in plastic bottles during your stay. 

There is a range of room options available for guests to choose from: dormitory beds in a shared room with a shared bathroom, a private twin bedroom with a shared bathroom, or a studio suite that sleeps up to 6 people – this comes with its own bathroom. All room types also have access to a kitchen that can be used for self-catering alongside the vegan breakfasts that are served daily.

There’s also a range of activities for guests to join inlcuding hiking, vegetable gardening, and cooking classes.
