SALT of Palmar

About

Make your trip to the renowned Maldives a sustainable one with SALT of Palmar!

Sustainability is a pillar of the resort, and since day one it has adopted a zero single-use plastic policy. Since then the’ve come a long way in developing methods to not only reuse or recycle, but upcycle their waste. Old, half-used soap bars left in the bathrooms are turned back into new soap that’s donated.

Old bed sheets are turned into stylish tote bags, old towels are patched into dog beds, and talented workers at the resort source denim scraps to craft envelopes and reduce paper waste.

The restaurant also focuses greatly on sustainability, only using very local and fresh ingredients that are organic where possible. Produce comes from the local farmers and fishermen to create a varied menu that has many vegan and vegetarian options.

At the hotel, guests can expect to find a huge range of amenities and activities to keep them entertained during their stay. Enjoy the bar or relaxing activities like yoga, the spa and then gym. Use the resort’s swimming pool or stroll to the private beach area for snorkelling and swimming in the sea.

Nearby, guests can also enjoy diving, windsurfing, boating, hiking and cycling!
